The Color of Forgiveness

green design

Palm Sunday fell just three days after St. Patrick’s Day. And it was the first day of spring. Days of green, all around.

St. Patrick was enslaved by the Irish; he escaped and voluntarily returned, determined to share the good news of Jesus Christ with his former captors. Spring brings an official end to the unforgiving cold of winter. Palm Sunday put Christ on the path to die for our sins.

Some say that green is the color of envy. This green is the color of forgiveness.bless forgiven forgiving

  1. Forgiveness is hardest for those who have not yet forgiven themselves.

  2. Failure to forgive hardens the heart. Those who can’t forgive themselves are indeed hard hearted.
