I bore easily. I am intrigued by a new project, weary of an old one. I leave a trail of unfinished tasks. What incomplete items clutter your living space?
- Half done crafts
- Abandoned building projects
- Redecorating never quite completed
- Self improvement started and then ignored
Truth be told, I procrastinate on certain assignments from God: the Rooms book, a prayer quilt, correspondence. I sense God’s nudging, yet I let other things take precedence.
My New Year’s resolution: Finish it!
Do you have any unfinished assignments from God?
Sure. Plenty. I started too many things,and now don’t suppose I’ll have the energy to finish all of them…or maybe ANY of them.
But that’s OK, because I believe that God will box them up on the Last Day Of Me, and when I get to where I’m going He’s going to be watching, laughter in His eyes, as I unpack all those dreams that I had thought lost.
I am amazed, Andrew, at what you have accomplished in the last couple months. You are a force for the finish!
